Real voice
A live, spoken conversation. Pause to think, interrupt, ask it to repeat.
Practise out loud with an AI interviewer that listens, asks why, and scores you the moment you hang up. Built for the week before the real one.
Walk me through a time a deploy broke production. What did you check first?
Ananya asked how you keep server data and UI state apart
You said server data lives in a query cache, UI state stays local
Ananya followed up: what breaks when two screens need the same data?

Question banks prepare you for the first question. Offers are decided on the second one. VocalHyre is built around the follow-up, said out loud, against a real clock.
A live, spoken conversation. Pause to think, interrupt, ask it to repeat.
Every topic gets a ladder: an example, the reasoning, then a twist.
Four timed parts. It never wraps up at minute three, and closes like a person.

And when you say quickly, how long was checkout actually broken?
See every line as it's said, word by word.
Only the transcript is kept, for your report.
Pick an answer and see what comes next. Vague answers get probed. Specific ones still get pushed one level deeper.

One real situation, asked the way an interviewer would.
Pick one. Vague answers get probed, specific ones get pushed deeper.
What comes next depends on what you said.

Example, reasoning, then a twist.
You ask about the role. A warm close.

Yes. You speak, the interviewer listens and replies out loud in real time. You can pause to think, ask it to repeat a question, or interrupt, just like a video call with a person. A live transcript and captions are shown alongside.
The interviewer runs on Google's real-time speech model, which handles a wide range of English accents. If a word is misheard you'll see it in the live captions and can simply say it again.
A laptop or desktop browser (Chrome or Edge work best), a microphone, and ideally headphones. No downloads or installs.
After each session, your transcript is evaluated and scored out of 100: technical depth (40%), communication clarity (30%), problem-solving approach (20%) and confidence (10%). You also get strengths, areas to work on and what to practise next.
The session reconnects automatically and continues where you left off. Your answers are saved as you go, so nothing is lost.
The free trial is 2 interviews of up to 15 minutes, once per account. Paid plans come with monthly minutes: Starter 90, Pro 180 and Premium 360, and your minutes reset every month. If you run low, add 30 more minutes for ₹149 without changing plan.
Your audio is streamed to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to run the conversation; we don't store recordings. Transcripts and scores are saved to your account so you can review them, and we never sell your data.
